This specialisation area prepares students for work in the field of health care and includes topics on clinical data management in primary care as well as quality-relevant aspects that have to be considered and implemented in routine health care.
Overview of Contents:
Data Warehousing and Data Mining: Data Warehousing: architecture, application scenarios, modelling, queries, optimisation etc. as well as Data Mining: application scenarios, concepts and techniques - e.g. cluster analysis, classification methods, association analysis, use of clinical data for QM and medical controlling: recording of QM/QA and business requirements in clinics and practices, organisation of QA and medical controlling systems, evaluation of patient-related data, development of quality indicators and financial ratios.
